ABOUT ME

Here to Help

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2011 from Sheffield Hallam University. My passion has always been animals and so I always knew I wanted to progress my career to include them too. I qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2015 from the University of Liverpool. I have worked in busy private physiotherapy practices and gained a wealth of experience treating a variety of issues with people. Along side running my own business, I also work in a specialist small animal hospital, treating both acute inpatient cases (e.g. spinal injuries, post-operative patients) and outpatient appointments for those who need ongoing care. I am registered with ACPAT (the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy), RAMP (Register of Aminal Musculoskeletal Practitioners), CSP (the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and HCPC (the Health and Care Professions Council).
Outside of work I am still animal obsessed! I have a rescue dog called Ben, who I have just started to compete with in Rally-O. I also have a horse called Boo. She is now a bit of an old lady and is enjoying her (semi) retirement! In her younger years we competed at local level in working hunter, ODE's and the odd show jumping course.
